It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Everett Shockley of Gloucester, Virginia, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Howard and Ruby Frankie Shockley; and his brother Jackie Lee Shockley. He is survived by: his daughter April; his son-in-law Manuel Martinez; his son Matthew Shockley; his grandchildren, Trista, Mattie and Ryland Shockley; his sister Brenda; his brother-in-law Edgar Arnold; his nephews, Brian Arnold (Mary) and Barry Arnold (Jodi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kemper, Anna, Bryce and Dylan; his brother-in-law Jeff Covington (JoAnn); and also Jake. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
