He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley M. Watson. He is survived by: his father Harold G. Watson of Middleburg, FL; his wife Melissa H. B. Watson; his children, Jacob M. Thomas (Anne Marie) of Roanoke, VA, Lora M. Watson of Gloucester, VA and Sharon K. Watson of Gloucester, VA.; his grandchildren, Micah Mckeon and Julianna Joy Thomas of Roanoke, VA.; his siblings-in-law, Vicki B. Johnson (David) of Taylors, SC, Steven C. Buchanan (Rebecca) and Julianna B. McCracken (Jeff) of Shippensburg, PA; his parents-in-law, J. Richard and Mary H. Buchanan of Shippensburg, PA; and his sister-in-law Sharon M. Shepherd (Larry) of Newport News, VA. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In memory of Bud, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the Benevolence Fund at Petsworth Baptist Church 2471 Hickory Fork Road, Gloucester, VA.
