He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Cabot Williams and Mae Thornton Williams; his wife Joyce Ann Williams; his son Roger Hayes Williams; and his siblings, William Lee Williams and Camelia Williams Hogge.
He is survived by: his son David Williams; his daughter-in-law Kim Williams; his granddaughters, Blair Nein (Johnny Nein) and Lindsey Williams; and his great grandchild John Robert Nein III.
