He is survived by: his children, Jimmie Smith (Mariella) of Gladys, Amanda Smith (George "June Poole") of Brookneal, Amie Clowdis (Todd Hale) of Long Island, Chris Austin of Gladys and Faith Austin of Brookneal; his grandchildren, Tyler Pillow, Meghan Clowdis, Adyson Smith, Shawn Kinney, Gabby, Siera, Haley Puryear, Callie McFaden and Heaven DeJarnette; and his great grandchildren, Pop James, Jamie, Alex and Kasey Crews. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
