He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leslie Bradner and Almeta Mae Rowland Bradner; his former wives, Dalphine Chumley Bradner (Teeny) and Gaynelle Hutcherson Davis Bradner; and his siblings, Willie, Thomas, Jack Bradner, Mae Rowland, Elsie Epperson and Fannie Epperson.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Bradner of Gladys, Chuck Bradner of Lynchburg, Joel Bradner (Kristie) of Midlothian and Donna Bradner (Mike Dalton) of Altavista; his stepson Carroll Davis (Kathy) of Lynchburg; and his great grandchild Elijah Lance Liverman. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
