She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hugh and Alice Bailey; her husband James A. Bales; and her children, Patti Hutton and Steven Bales.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Bussey, Bill Bailey and Bobby (Lisa Bales); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Bales, Emily Bailey, Alice Bussey, Nickie Mann, Gabriel Nelson and Kristen Bales. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
