We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2023, at the age of 76, Lawrence M. Barr of Glade Spring, Virginia, born in Washington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Barr and Mary Barr; and his siblings, Vivian Neely, Mattie Gray Barr, Ralph Barr, Jr. and Dave Barr.

He is survived by: his children, James Matthew Barr (Teresa), Stevie Allen Smith (Victoria), Charlie Robert Burke, III, Daniela Nicole Barr and Megan Danielle Puckett (Shane); his grandchildren, Mattie Smith, Aaron Smith, Snowden Barr, James Belcher, Jeremiah Belcher, Lilly Puckett, Layla Burke, Callie Burke and Kaleb Burke; his niece Monica Cross; and his siblings, Ellen Jo Wright (Jay), Jean Sheets (Cotton), Linda Gambel (Don), Sharon Burke (Jack) and Randy Barr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Widener Valley Community Cemetery Fund.
