He is survived by: his wife Patsy Smith; his sons, Tony Smith of Abingdon, Mike Smith of Cape Canaveral and Jeff Smith (Paula); his stepdaughters, Tammy Norris (Tim) and Stacey Miller; his stepgrandchildren, Austin Carter, Dustin Cannon (Kellie), Jordan Miller and Sharon Heissiler (Dominik); his nieces, Belle and Sophie Ditto; his grandchildren, April White, Michael Smith (Laura), Laura Leigh Smith, Samantha Smith, Anthony Smith (Chloe), Dylan Smith and Mary Alice Woodward; and his siblings, Marie Oakes of San Antonio, TX, Sylvester Smith of Augusta, GA, Jack Smith of Chesapeake, VA, Ronald Smith of College Station, TX and Nancy Repass (Charles) of Glade Spring, VA. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
