He was predeceased by: his parents, David Morefield and Irene Morefield; his daughter Patricia Ann Blevins; and his brother Jerry Morefield. He is survived by: his wife Doris S. Morefield; his son Bobby L. Blevins (Robin) of Glade Spring, VA; his grandchildren, Kristi Baumgardner (Robbie), Billy Thomas (Beverly), Stacie Thomas, Brandi Hunter (Jason) and Terri Snead; his brother Wayne Morefield (Vicki) of Damascus, VA; and his nephew David Morefield of Damascus, VA. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to McCalls Gap Presbyterian Church, 9420 Crescent Rd., Glade Spring, VA 24340.
