He was predeceased by: his brother Raleigh Childress, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Childress; his daughters, Nikki Bush (Jeff) of Pittsburgh and Sarah Hind (Michael) of Charlotte, N. C.; his sister Gloria Hixon (Frank) of Rising Fawn; and his grandchildren, Morgan Hind, Zachary Bush, Vivian Bush and Seth Sutton.
