We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2023, at the age of 73, Peggy Pat Pendleton of Gate City, Virginia, born in Nickelsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Parks and Breeding; her siblings, Fern Parks Harris, Faye Parks Slaughter and Ricky "Trixxie" Parks; and her nephew Mark "Polo" Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Clay Pendleton; her children, Mechon Baker (Jason) and Travis Lane; her grandchildren, Savannah Holt and Cori Baker; her great grandchild Callie Holt; her stepdaughters, Chelsea Pendleton Grills and Brenna Stiner; her stepgrandson Luke Baker; her nieces and nephews, Sherry Bledsoe, Robin Bross, Sam Harris and Bobby Slaughter; her sister-in-law Carmen Taylor; her nephew Jimmy; and her sisters, Linda Dishner and Ann Taylor. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends; mother-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made in Peggy's memory to First Baptist Church of Nickelsville Mission Fund, 11606 Nickelsville Hwy, Nickelsville, VA 24271.
