Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lonnie Stevie Berry (Gate City, Virginia), born in Kingsport, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 61, on February 24, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joe Berry and Ethel Harris (Berry); his grandson Mason Berry; and his brother Gary Berry. He is survived by: his wife Susie Berry; his stepfather Rev. James Harris; his children, Jennifer Belanger (Derrick), Jason Berry, Crystal Romine, Brian Berry (Melinda), Brandy Graham (Chris) and Jessica Berry; and the mother of his children Brenda Berry (George Hobbs, III). He is also survived by grandkids, nieces and nephews, and a great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Adams Cemetery Adams Cemetery.
In lieu, those wishing may donate to Gate City Funeral Home in Lonnie's name to help with his final expenses.
