She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie J. Kerns and Jo Marie Fletcher Kerns; her husband Otis Paul "Cricket" Tipton; her granddaughter Christina Houseright; and her siblings, Maudie (Cornell), Charlie "Grub" Kerns, Silas "Buck" Kerns, Carroll Gillenwater and Bobby Kerns.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Houseright Arnold and Melissa "Missy" Thompson (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Tyler Houseright, Chadwick Ball (James Isaac), Santana Houseright and Brysen Gillenwater; her great grandchildren, Kolton Houseright, Bentley Shelton and Kayden Shelton; and her sister Jo "Sis" Skeens (Bobby).
