It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann (Salyer) Farmer (Gate City, Virginia), who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Sutton Salyer and Stella Marie Salyer (Kiser); and her siblings, Lila Salyer, Denna Hillman, Judy Bledsoe, Leon, Dave, Eugene, Bill, Joe and Larry Salyer.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Farmer; her daughters, Shari Williams (Vernon) and Melissa Farmer; her grandchildren, Jared Williams and Lauren Williams; and her sisters, Linda Kugler and Estelita Dougherty. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
