Though Ernest Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Sr. Yoakley and Annis Yoakley; and his sister Judy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Yoakley; and his children, Crystal Hasting (James), Jessica Eddins (Wesley) and Adam Yoakley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
