He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gray Pierson and Katherine Pierson (Taylor); his parents-in-law, Charles and Lucille Lawson; and his brother-in-law Colin Green.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Pierson (Lawson); his children, Lisa Kincer (Mike) and James Pierson (Jan); his sister Linda Jennings (Larry); his siblings-in-law, Nancy Perry (Scotty) and Charles Lawson, Jr. (Diane); his grandchildren, Amanda Calton (Gabe), Emily Egan (Josh) and Connor Pierson; and his great grandchildren, Levi Calton, Zeke Calton, Jayden Egan, Anniston Egan and Rayland Egan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
