He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Hood Lewis and Ralph Woodberry Lewis, Sr.; his brother David; his sister-in-law Patricia Lewis; and his grandson Dustin House.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Leadbetter Long Lewis; his children, Melinda L. Prince (Tommy), Kenneth Lewis, Missy L. House (Ricky), Karen Lewis (Donnie), James L. Long, Jr., Sherri Lynn Blythe (Kevin) and Deborah Barker (Eric); and his siblings, Francis Lythgoe, Timmy and Mickey Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
