He was predeceased by: his father Charles Hoffmaster; his grandmother Ruby Kelty; and his sister Jody Moates. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Walker; his significant other Amy Walker; his daughters, Darlene Hawkins (Chris) and Josephine Hoffmaster; his stepdaughter Brianna Nicole; his sons, Jonathan Hoffmaster and Patrick Tippett; his grandchildren, Xena Thompson and Shay Hawkins; his mother Darla Norman; his sister Jamie Nicholson (Ponch); and his close friend Andrea Rinaldi. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
