He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie Adams and Elizabeth Howell Adams; his wife Priscilla Grizzard Adams; his son Cary Adams; and his grandson Adam Brinkley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Brinkley (Hunter) and Frances Glover (Morris); his daughter-in-law Delores R. Adams; his grandchildren, Kelli Adams, Tiffany Morgan (Jimmy), Christy Glover, Candice Taylor (Clay), Nancy Glover (Spencer) and Morris Glover, Jr. (Leslie); and his great grandchildren, Ondrea, Kendra Glover, Austin, Peyton Clements, Colton Taylor, Cary, Katie Glover, Cecile and George Morgan.
