Roy Thomas Alderman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Thomas Alderman of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on March 5, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Alderman and Emma Morgan Alderman; his wife Ila Mae Alderman; his sister Helen Alderman; his sons, Duane Alderman and Richard Alderman Sr.; his grandson Richard Bartlett; and his son-in-law Elwood Bartlett.
He is survived by: his daughter Louise Alderman Bartlett of Yorktown, Virginia; his daughters-in-law, Diane Anderson and Joyce Alderman; and his grandchildren, Susan Carico, Ronnie, Sarah Lynn Alderman, Thomas Alderman, Richard Alderman Jr. (Michelle) and Christie Scalf (Chris). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
