Though Ronald Otis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald Otis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Marvin and Martha Ruth Burcham Willard; and his siblings, Betty Lou Yates, Harry Paul Vass and Grady Vass.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Cheeks Willard; his sons, Stacy (Rena Willard) and Tommy Joe (Michelle Willard); his sister Pauline Osmer of Gurly, Alabama; and his caregiver Christy Thomas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations to either the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad or the Fairlawn Church of Christ Cemetery Fund.
