She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby Johnson and Virginia Ruth Combs Johnson; her son Steven Morris; her brother Darrell Eugene Johnson; and also Herman Redd.

She is survived by: her son Arvil Morris of Trinity; and her brothers, A. L. (Carmen Johnson) and D. R. (Judy Johnson). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
