It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy (Lou) Luzetta Tolbert of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anderson Mabe and Hattie Bell Burnett Mabe; her husband Charles Raymond Tolbert; and her siblings, Jasper, Lloyd, Marlin, Arland, Grant, Clay, Anders, Warren, Roy, Wallace and Cleona Lineberry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley (Ron Fuller) and Debbie (Larry Davis); her granddaughter Sabrena Collins; her close friend Alex Ryan; her granddaughter Ashley (Zack Hill); her great grandchildren, Tre Collins and Aiden Hill; her siblings-in-law, Ethel Mabe of Woodlawn, Virginia, Evelyn Sexton of Dublin, Virginia, Gene (Ivy Jean Tolbert) and Melvin (Diane Tolbert) of Dublin, Virginia; her close friend Geraldine O'dell; and her pets, Annie, Molly and Louie. She is also survived by several step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
