It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie White of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie White to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Oscar and Eliza Matoka Dalton Barnes; her husband William Zelmer White (Bill); and her sisters, Glenna Goad (Wakeman), Lummie Goad (Erby), Odessa Thomas (Fred) and Gladys Morris (Caulder).
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy White (James Wallis); her granddaughter Rebecca Wallis (Jack Dean); and her sister Martha Lee Martin (Ernest).
The family request that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines be observed.
