She was predeceased by: her husband Mason Lawson; her children, Jerry Lawson, John Lawson and Mark Lawson; her parents, John Frost and Mae Frost; and her siblings, Paul Frost, Rufus Frost, Herbert Frost, Harry Frost, Howard Frost, Mumphord Frost, Bobby Frost, Agnes Newman and Lydia Lineberry.
She is survived by: her son Doug Lawson; her grandchildren, Jody Lawson of Woodlawn and Amy Lawson of Galax; her daughters-in-law, Wanda Lawson of Woodlawn and Angie Lawson of Max Meadows; her brother Wayne Frost; her sister-in-law Nancy Frost of Galax; her sister Betty Roberts of Woodlawn; and her close friends, Kitty Sue Bowers, Connie Sumner, Carolyn Martin, Brenda Leonard and Garnett Leonard.
