She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ren and Myrtle Lula Bartlett; and her siblings, Coy Diamond, Rose Osborne, Wallene Fields, Irene Boyer and Hazel Lowe.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Edwards of Galax, Virginia; her daughters, Regina (Richard Golding) and Donna (Eric Lancaster); her granddaughter Jessica (Darron Blanchard) of Richmond, Virginia; and her siblings, Ima Lee Hanlin of California, Bill (Nell Bartlett) and Jerry (Shelia Bartlett). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donatons be made to either the Oakland United Methodist Church or to ALS.
