She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Fender and Carene Pearl Anders Fender; her son Donald Rosenbaum; her siblings, Julian Fender, Imogean McCraw and Clema Louise (Terry Ring); and her brother-in-law Carl Smythers.
She is survived by: her son Allen; her daughter-in-law Kim Rosenbaum of Galax, Virginia; her grandson Justin Lee Rosenbaum of Galax, Virginia; her siblings, Janie Smythers of Glade Valley, Jerry (Judy Fender), Janet (Dallas Hill) and Joyce (Robin Hill); and her sister-in-law Betty Fender of Elon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
