She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hill and Hazel Mabe Hill; her husband Gene Caldwell; her children, Terry Caldwell, Steve Caldwell and Donna Anderson; and her brother Gene Hill.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Caldwell of Galax, Virginia; and her siblings, Peggy Carico of Galax, Sally Clyburn of Galax, Virginia and Gary Hill of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
