He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Savage and Ila Mae Ring Savage; his former wife Louise Jewel Savge; and his brothers, Danny Savage and David Savage.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Savage of Galax, Virginia; his daughters, Tina Louise Savage of Galax, Virginia and Sharon Ann Carrico (Charles William Carrico, Jr.); his sister Joyce Collins of Carroll County, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Noah Daniel Newman, Alexis Ryann Hale, Hallie Shea Newman and Lincoln Jefferson Savage.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, North Carolina 27017.
