She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Kirby and Mary Norman Kirby; and her husband Buford Haynes. She is survived by: her son Jimmy; her daughter-in-law Susan Haynes; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Kirby of Galax, Virginia and Frances Nale of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
