Helena Ruth Sexton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helena Ruth Sexton of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on June 6, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted P. Lineberry and Arla Brooks Montgomery Lineberry; and her husband Charles Vivian Sexton, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Vivian (Don Crews), Theresa (Barry Mawyer), Kimberly (Tim Coble), William T. (Doris Sexton) and David (Pamela Sexton); and her sisters, Ethel Whitlow of Mt. Airy and Frances Akers of Hillsville, Virginia. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
