With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glennis Stanley Morris of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Estel and Mary Etta Largen Stanley; her husbands, Thelbert Randolph Ashlock and Marvin "Mark" Morris; and her siblings, Hassell (Evelyn Stanley), Leland (Theral Stanley), James Stanley, Ardith (Forrest Nuckles), Iva (Glenn Wagner) and Vida (Gladys Stanley).

She is survived by: her daughter Marie Ashlock; her son-in-law Dennis Combs; her grandsons, Donald Meador, Jr., Anthony (Meg Meador) and Stanley (Courtney Meador); her brother Arville; and her sister-in-law Betty Stanley. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
