She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Anderson and Bessie Hubbard Anderson; her husband Walter Combs; her great grandchild Reagan McDaniel; her stepgrandson Deven Butterworth; and her siblings, Mable Martin, Margie Stephens, Juanita Childress and Archie Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Judy (Dan Chamberlain), Brenda (Graham Mitchell), Vickie (Larry Shupe) and Roger; and her daughter-in-law Jackie Combs of Galax, Virginia. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
