With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garth Edward Bauman of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Oleta Bauman; his daughter Shelia Edrod; his stepchildren, Chris Dalton, Eileen Edwards and Melody Adams; his brother James Bauman; and his stepgrandson Steven Nelson (Kali). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
