It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Rebbecca Marshall Hodge Bowman of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Burnard and Lillie Blanch Viers Marshall; her husband Garner Franklin Bowman; and her siblings, Mary Sue Marshall Willard and Clarence Buress Marshall, Jr. (Hero).
She is survived by: her sister Phyllis Jean Allen of Barren Springs, Virginia; her children, Sandra Rebbecca Williams of Red Oak, Tammy Regina Nielsen of Dallas, Texas and Ricky Everett Hodge of Corpus Christi, Texas.; her grandchildren, Joshua Everett Hodge, Hannah Jannell Yeaney, Brandon Marshall Nielsen, Russell Le'Wayne Williams and Trevor Jessie Nielsen; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Ayden Yeaney, Jessie Jannell Yeaney, Ryder Alexander Yeaney, Riley Robertson, Raydin Angela Williams, Irys Deanna Williams and Deacan Wayne Williams.
