He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Guy and Alverta Lundy Lowe; and his brothers, Claude, Kester and Curtis Lowe.

He is survived by: his daughter Cathy (Richard Galyean); his grandchildren, Kristen (Michael Luke Mahan) of Clintwood, Virginia and Todd Galyean (Abby Mason) of Richmond, Virginia.; his niece Patricia; and his nephews, Ronald Hackler of King and Terry (Miriam Lowe) of Smithfield, Australia..
