It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darylene June Mitchell of Galax, Virginia, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Woodson and Mary Susan Porter Blair; her husband Harold Mitchell; and her siblings, Inez Patterson, Lillian Mabe, Ann Sheffey, Howard Blair, Harry Blair and Harman Blair.
She is survived by: her sister Nadene Dickens of Wytheville, Virginia; her brother-in-law William Wayne Patterson (Lois); her sisters, Margaret Ann and Nancy Smith (Bill); and her nieces and nephews, Joan, Stephen Blair, Jerry Sheffey, Sue Ann Crockett (William), Gary Blair (Jama), Thomas A. Dickens (Gina) and Barry Dickens (Sherry). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
