It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Whitaker of Galax, Virginia, born in Wytheville, Virginia, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Frank and Annie Pearl Bullard Driver; and her siblings, Frances McFarland of Galax, Virginia, Charles Lee Driver, Charles Thomas Driver and Roger Driver.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Whitaker; her daughter Brittany; her son-in-law Jordan Coleson; her son James Whitaker; her close friend Cheyanne Dull; her sister-in-law Joyce Driver of Galax, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Payton Whitaker and Karleigh Coleson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
