He is survived by: his close friend Edna Darlene Mabry of Galax, Virginia; his daughter Shiela Aldred (Sammy Johnson) of Hillsville, Virginia; his siblings, Dwight Burcham (Terri) of Galax, Dale Burcham (Donna) of Galax, Virginia and Wanda Brannock of Galax, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Savanna Aldred and Jenna Aldred. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
