She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Charles and Geneva Turman Harris; and her daughter Jennifer Caroline Parsons. She is survived by: her son Allen K. Parsons of Galax, Virginia; her grandchildren, Aly Parsons and Phillip Parsons; her siblings, Betty Simmons of Woodlawn, Virginia and Dennis; and her sister-in-law Debbie Harris of Galax, Virginia.
