She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Raymond Bowman; her siblings, Theron, Louise, Dorothy, John Samuel and Leland; and her parents, John Samuel and Bertha Holeman (Amis).
She is survived by: her child David Bowman (June) of Gainesville, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Melissa Bowman (Kyle Pittleman) of Fairfax, Virginia and Allison Ellis (Ryan) of Huntersville.
