It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Lewis Johnson Sr. (Fries, Virginia), who passed away on June 29, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Hannah Frances Byrd Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Lena Elizabeth of Galax; his children-in-law, Joe Lineberry of Galax and Homer Lewis Johnson Jr. of Fries; his siblings, Magdalene Mallory of Fries and Vernon Johnson of Fries; his sister-in-law Betty Johnson of Fries; and also, William Kevin of Fries, Jennifer Johnson of Fries and Dwight David Johnson of Ivanhoe. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
