She was predeceased by: her parents, Neal Vaughan and Maggie Katherine Akers Vaughan; her husband Robert "Bobby" Asbury; and her great grandchild James Christian Gravley. She is survived by: her children, Vickie (Tim Taylor), Star (Mike Forbes) and Robert (Eddie Stanley); her daughter-in-law Kathy Asbury of Independence, Virginia; her siblings, Lois Young of Fries, Virginia, Ray (Brenda Vaughan) and Doug Vaughan of Fries, Virginia; and her close friends, Victor, Myra Youngblood and Eric Holliday. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
