She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Clarion and Virginia Elizabeth Patton Williams; her husband Ira Patterson Shaffner; her grandson Brad Shaffner; and her brother George Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa (Todd Dickson), Drema (Chris Morton), Steven (Janie Shaffner) and Tony Shaffner of Elk Creek, Virginia; her grandchildren, Geoffrey (Holly Shaffner), Chad Shaffner, Tracie (Jacob Vaughan), Zach (Lauren Dickson), Colt Dickson and Irelyn Morton; her granddaughter-in-law Casey Shaffner; her great grandchildren, Kacie Shaffner, Anna Vaughan, Andrew Shaffner, Ayla Vaughan, Allie Vaughan, Easton Shaffner, Karsyn Shaffner, Charleigh Shaffner, Jack Dickson, Grayson Shaffner, Hayden Dickson and Carter Dickson; her sister Wanda Dowling of Fries Virginia; her close friend Carolyn Byrd; her friend Lori Dudley; and also, Gerald and Judy Anders. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
