He was predeceased by: his parents, Fonzie Holland and Lucy Holland; his wife Sylvia Holland; his son Mark Holland; his siblings, Eva Dillon, Ellen Dillon and Charlie Holland; and his half-brothers, William Holland, Buford Holland, Herbert Holland and Russell Holly.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Smith (Ronnie Smith) of Roanoke, Lisa Holland of Christiansburg and Keith Holland (Ellen Holland) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Heather Trail and Matthew Holland; his great grandchildren, Presley Trail and Makenna Trail; his brother John Holland (Mary) of Texas; his sister-in-law Janice Holland of Rocky Mount; and his friend Glen Cannady.
