We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2022, at the age of 80, Roy McClinton Carr of Franklin, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gladstone Carr, Sr. and Alma Turner Carr; his stepsons, Wayne Baines and Robert Richie Baines; and his siblings, Marie C. Gray, Doris C. Beale and John G. Carr, Jr..
He is survived by: his brother Bobby Ray Carr (Linda) of Boykins; his stepchildren, Shirley B. Robinson (John) of Windsor and Donnie Wesley Baines (Debra) of Capron; his stepgrandchildren, Kimberly Cussick, Brian Callis, Wesley Baines, Katie Copty, Nikki Baines and Krystal Baines; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Meadows, Stacy Carr, Lonnie Gray, Jr., Mac Beale, Bill Beale, Bob Beale and Jeff Carr.
The family will receive friends at the graveside one hour prior to the service and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or any favorite charity.
