He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred David Edwards and Essie Mae Vinson Edwards; and his former wife Mona Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his sons, Kendall (Kim) and David (Shauna); his grandchildren, Jackson, Kendra, Savannah, Kaylee and Campbell; his stepchildren, Jeff McNeil (Candy) and Ashley Gates (Joey); and his stepgrandchildren, Rachel, Emma, Madelyn and Anderson.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Franklin Baptist Church.
