It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Daniel Cox (Franklin, Virginia), born in Sussex, Virginia, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius Brownley Cox, Sr. and Audrey Williams Cox; his wife Nancy Crichton Cox; his brothers, J. Brownley Cox, Jr. and Thomas David Cox; and his great grandchild Matthew Curle.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Mason Pierce (Mark) of Sedley, Paul Daniel Cox, Jr. (Mary Jo) of Suffolk, VA and James Wyatt Cox (Jemma) of Sussex Courthouse; his grandchildren, Dr. Brittany Curle (Jason), Mason Cox (Dustin Carr), Jessie Cox, Austin Pierce (Courtney Edwards), Wesley Pierce and Jordan Cox; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Madison Curle and Bowen Pierce.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home one hour prior to the service and suggests memorial donations be made to Capron United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
