He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McKee Lackey, Jr. and Ruth Overbey Lackey; and his son William "Billy" David Lackey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie Williams Lackey; his sons, Kevin Lackey (Katie) and Jonathan Lackey (Kelly); his sister Mary L. Kelton (David); his grandchildren, Owen, Isaac and Sabrina; and his pets, Dolly and Waylon. He is also survived by niece and a nephew; three great nieces and a great nephew.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Franklin Presbyterian Church.
