With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Eustace Smith of Franklin, Virginia, born in Lost Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ross Eustace, Sr. and Mary Avis Eustace; her husband John Daniel Smith, Jr.; her son J. D. Smith, III; and her sister Broaddus Ann Eustace Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Kathy Smith (Mike Rhoades); her daughter-in-law Yvette Smith; her grandson J. Daniel Smith, IV; and her pet Marco.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
